In this video from the NCCN 2011 Annual Conference, Cameron Muir, MD, of Capital Hospice and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, advises cancer patients to advocate for themselves with their cancer care team. If you have cancer, you “should not expect to suffer with your cancer diagnosis,” Dr. Muir adds, because of the resources now available to treat cancer and cancer symptoms.
